I'm a romantic at heart... and this new song does it for me :). It's Justin Timberlake's latest song, "Suit and Tie". Maybe it's because I like gowns and gloves, tuxedos and bow ties, or glitz and glamour... Or maybe it's because I'm actually attending my first "ball" in a little over a week and this song came out at the perfect time :). I'm a Michael Buble, Harry Connick, Jr., Robin Thicke, and Frank Sinatra fan so I can see why this new song caught my attention --- and I'm sure it will for the majority of you women (not to mention that Timberlake doesn't look half bad :)).. but, enjoy! And it's always important to feel like a princess :).
It's funny -- my dear friend, "HillStreetViewz" (http://hillstreetviewz.blogspot.com/), and I were discussing this song the other day and he has a "different take" on it than I do.. although our opinions are different, I still love him anyway :). Who knows.. maybe he is smarter than me when it comes to critiquing.. or maybe it's because he's not as much into being a princess ....... :)
I'm all about my tiara but I can't say I like this song. Maybe it'll grow on me like fungus in your feet, Sandy.... :) Keep ballin'!!

ReplyDeleteAhh my dear Sandy, I was not all that impressed with his new song. I was a HUGE fan of Future/Sex Love/Sounds with it's top notch production and song writing but this is a very week lead single. This song is at best a 2nd or 3rd single. Remember when Sexyback dropped? Now that's how you kick off an new cd!!!. The intro this song is horrible and should been edited out for the single release and just saved for cd, Song is middle of the road R&B with an old school vibe that I liked. The beat is good enough and JT's vocals are on point and are a highlight of the track. I really like the synth horn stabs that precede each chorus. Jay-z's rap could have been left out as it adds nothing special to the song. Overall I give it a B and I hope there are better songs on The 20/20 Experience. If the cd flops he can always return to acting!!! HillStreetViewz........out
